Amelia Earhart's Day

by - Tuesday, July 24, 2012

A little surprise when I opened Google just now. I found that today is apparently the 115th birthday of Amelia Earhart. Who is she? I think most of you already known her. She was the first woman pilot of USA in the conventional era, where women role was not being appreciated.

What I want to share today is about fight and struggle. She reflects that nothing is impossible to achieve our dream. She passed through all borders and made her as pioneer at her time. She is a symbol of emancipation.

Therefore, what is our dream? What we already done to step forward toward our dream? Have we made any break through in our lifetime? This is our life and is our obligation to paint it. Be a pioneer and a master of our life.

In life when we feel we have reached a limit, that is when the true battle begins. Just when you despair and think it is impossible to go any further, will you become apathetic, or will you say it’s not over and stand up with an unyielding spirit? The battle is decided by this single determination. -- Daisaku Ikeda.
